Hello and welcome! My name is Noelle Roubinek and I am a PhD student at the University of Minnesota. I am in the Literacy Education program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
My research interests include transnational and transracial adoption, specifically Korean adoptees, picturebook analysis, multilingual education, and heritage language learning. Theoretical frameworks and methodologies I employ include AsianCrit, Critical Content Analysis, and Scholarly Personal Narrative (SPN).
